There is a reason that people flock from all over NSW to the quiet, rolling hills of the Hunter Valley, and we have discovered the secret.

The Hunter

The Hunter is famous for its wineries and variety of cuisines cooked from fresh local produce. Our Hunter Valley Tour will take you on a journey from the vine to the glass as you enjoy delicious, Australian made wines coupled with menus designed to complement every drop.

We have a motto when it comes to our food and wine tour, “our wine is our canvas, and our food is our paint”. Let us help you appreciate the art of perfectly matched wine and food at the regions most renowned wineries.

Our mission is to make your day not just an outing, but an expedition, exploring vineyards, and experiencing first class cooking in idyllic surrounds.

The Food

As fellow food and wine lovers, we know that food and wine connoisseurs and Hunter Valley debutantes alike have different needs. If you have any special dietary requirements, we will do our utmost to accommodate them.

The Wine

We are very proud to be in the Hunter Valley food and wine tour business. We are committed to learning everything we can about the region so we can build our expertise in our trade. We love taking our customers to our favourite locations to explore and experience what we have come to learn to be world-class wine.

Our Guide

Your guide is not just any old guide – he is your cook as well, and is a qualified chef! We do this to make sure that the food you get to eat matches your tour and the wines you are tasting to perfection.

The Vineyards

There are dozens of vineyards to choose from in the Hunter Valley region. Where a lot of tours focus on getting you to as many vineyards as they can in one day, we take a more relaxed approach. We have hand picked 3 vineyards for you to visit so you can take your time enjoying the food and wine on offer at a relaxed pace. There is plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery as we journey from location to location, and you will love the 3 vineyards we have chosen for you.

The Hunter Valley (getting there)

Food and wine tours are nothing without the perfect surroundings in which to indulge. Nestled inland from Newcastle, the Hunter Valley is a mere 2 hour drive from Sydney and is home to wineries, luscious farmland, art galleries, golf courses and native wildlife.

If driving is not for you, please take a look at our Sydney pickup locations page to see how we can pick you up and take you home. Pickup is available from most city hotels and some central locations in and around the city, or, if you have booked a private tour, a home pickup may be possible. Please feel free to ask us about our pickup locations when you book your tour.

This was one of the best things that we did on our trip to Australia. It was truly a perfect day. Food, wine, beautiful scenery, lots of great information about wine and Australia--it could not have been better.

The tour was well designed and organized. Great food, great wine and great company.

What Makes our Hunter Valley Food and Wine Tour the Best?

We aren’t the only business offering food and wine tours in the Hunter Valley. We are the only business however that focuses all of its energy on creating an experience for our clients and customers. We offer what other tours do not – your personal guide will cook your food on location and match it with the wines of the day, so you can spend more time enjoying your surroundings and not stuck in a restaurant ordering from a standard menu.

And what’s more – we bring the kitchen with us! We have a kitchenette built into our bus so that we can cook delicious, fresh food for you in any location.

One of the best things about our tours is that we try to limit our group sizes to 12 people or less. We do this so that you can get to know the Hunter Valley intimately without the distraction of dozens of other people. We can accommodate groups of larger than 16 for private tours, please contact us to discuss this option if you are thinking of joining us on a tour with a group of friends or family.

Anyone can put you on a bus and drive you around our striking region, but we have spent years putting together a formula to make sure you never forget your Hunter Valley food and wine tour.

Whether you are a first timer travelling from out of town to experience what the region has to offer, or a seasoned veteran of the wineries of the Hunter, our vision is to make your Hunter Valley food and wine tour unforgettable.
